V. tahitensis vanilla beans from the Cook Islands are one of our very favorites! These luscious beans have a very sweet aroma, with hints of ice cream and cotton candy. They're so flavorful we can smell them through the packaging! This vanilla bean has made our best seller list for good reason--they're a wonderful example of the diverse range of vanilla beans. Cook Islands V. tahitensis are fantastic in a rum-based vanilla extract for cream or fruit-based applications, like on fresh peaches or strawberries, in ice cream, or custard.  Grade A, about 10 beans per ounce.

To save on packaging, beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.

Beautiful

This beans were large and full of paste. I loved using them. They are currently soaking to make vanilla.

The beans were way bigger than I expected. Great quality. Everything they described about it in flavor was dead on. I just made some strawberry ice cream base and the strawberries sing with that hint of cotton candy. I'm excited for my extract to mature. It's only been about a week and the smell of it is already divine. Will definitely be buying more.

Customer service is also very helpful and detailed, they answered my questions thoroughly!

These are the sweetest, most fantastic beans ever! That being said, I wouldn't use them for everything but if you want that vanilla forward, OMG reaction from puddings, ice cream, fruit based desserts, icing, ect this is your bean. I use a very neutral alcohol to get the full flavor.

Beautiful!

I have only collected v planifolia vanilla beans. This is my first v tahitensis. I have read great things about this one.
They smell heavenly and are plump and long. Anxious to see how it turns out as extract - I have high hopes!
