Mexican cured V. planifolia vanilla beans grown in Madagascar are unique and lovely. With a richer fragrance than regular Madagascar beans, these are wonderful in recipes or for making extract. This particular group is "Grade B" because the beans have split during the curing process and are more dry than Grade A beans. They are, however, very long, at least 19 cm. Because of their big size, this group is averaging about 3-5 beans per ounce.
This variety of vanilla bean was the star of the "Data" group buy on Indri's Vanilla Bean Group. Limited supply.
Beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
