El Salvador V. planifolia

El Salvador is a Central American country with vanilla beans as warm and bold as their tropical landscape. Not to mention, this variety is absolutely massive and juicy, with an average of 3-5 beans per ounce. They're nutty, earthy, and pleasant in aroma, with notes of oatmeal breakfast bars, walnut, and a unique spice that we can't quite identify, but we really like. We recommend pairing this vanilla bean with a darker alcohol such as bourbon or brandy, for a very bold, deep vanilla extract that will wow all your tastebuds.

To save on packaging, beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
