Extract Grade Vanilla Beans

Extract grade beans may be too short or dry to be labeled and sold as Grade A or they may be split or broken.  Indri's Vanilla Bean Group has occasionally run group buys on mixed varieties of vanilla beans, and any extras are sold here, in which case you would get Grade A, but with several varieties mixed together. 

This listing may be any of the varieties sold on this site. They will come labeled by variety but the selection will change based on what we have in stock.  

Extract Grade Vanilla beans excel at making vanilla extract. We recommend a ratio of at least 1 oz of beans per cup of 80 proof alcohol to make homemade vanilla extract. 

The number of beans per ounce for Extract Grade depends on which variety we send. 

Beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one, two, three or four ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
