I got a few more vanilla beans, which is always exciting. As always, they were in beautiful shape and I immediately added them to my mother jar.

I got 0.6 ounces of Ecuador V. tahitensis! While it isn't going to make much extract, it's going to make enough to sample and compare to other varieties! Definitely worth the $5 and it was a wonderful surprise.

I received 4 beans for my mystery gift. I dried them, ground them, then added them to vanilla sugar. I had wanted to try it but had never done it. I will always add a mystery gift to my orders. How fun!
