These Mexico V. planifolia vanilla beans are very classic. Aroma notes of sweet cream and caramel make them a great all-around vanilla bean.  Grown in Mexico, the birthplace of Vanilla, and cured in the Mexican Method. They are grade A, 15-17 cm in length. About 7-10 beans per ounce.

The group buys through Indri's Vanilla Bean Group nicknamed "Finch" and "Kirk" were this variety.

Beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered. The "4 ounce" option will come packaged in one 4-ounce vacuum seal bag.

Mexican beans

I have zero complaints about anything regarding my purchase. The beans were exactly as described and smelt heavenly. Made 3 different extracts and honestly can't wait to place another order for more beans as Mexican vanilla is my favorite. I've even had people try my Mexican vanilla and they're all blown away by the taste and quality.

Very pleased

I just received my first batch of vanilla beans. They were plumb and very fresh. Now they are marinating in apple crown royal and vodka. Can't wait to use them for baking.

Not really impressed for the price. Beans were very thin and flat, not very plump. Oily sheen but seemed dry. Probably my least favorite from this site
