Mexico - Oaxaca V. planifolia Grade B Vanilla Beans

Let's welcome another vanilla bean offering from the native home of the vanilla orchid, Mexico! This V. planifolia vanilla bean is grown in the Oaxaca region of Mexico, and classifies as Grade B, meaning the beans are whole, somewhat dry, and some may be shorter than 13 centimeters in length. We average 11-13 beans per ounce. They are bold and chocolatey in aroma, with a very prominent vanilla punch, and a hint of dried fruit, like a candy bar, or maybe chocolate covered raisins. (Unless you don't like raisins. If so, forget we mentioned raisins and just know these are very flavorful, delicious-smelling vanilla beans!) 

Beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
