Sliced, dried turmeric is a great way to get to know this wholesome spice! These dried slices can be ground in a spice grinder to make powdered turmeric, or can be steeped in hot water or broth for soups or teas. Turmeric is a rhizome that is renowned for its bright yellow color, delightful warmth and flavor depth, and anti-inflammatory properties. We enjoy it in curries, soups, and spice blends.
