'Ua Pou (pronounced Wah-Poe)--an island in the Marquesas region of French Polynesia--has produced some of the plumpest, most remarkable V. tahitensis vanilla beans in the world. You will be greeted by strong aromas of toasted coconut, decadent red grape, fresh summer rain, and delicate plumeria, for a sweet and fruity vanilla that stands out among the crowd. There are 4-7 beans per ounce.
