Uganda Hybrid Vanilla Beans

This new vanilla option out of Uganda is really fun! Our farmers have crossed V. planifolia and V. pompona vanilla orchids to create this Hybrid variety, which is truly the best of both worlds. They're sweet and fruity like their pompona parent, while enjoying that warm rich vanilla scent we love from their planifolia parent. We detect a hint of fresh spice, like an herb garden on a spring day, with additional notes of apricot and tangy orange creamsicles. 

These vanilla beans qualify as grade B, so there will be varying sizes and some may be split or dry.  There is an average of 9 beans per ounce.

To save on packaging, beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
