West Samoa V. planifolia Vanilla Beans

Introducing vanilla beans from the Independent State of Samoa! These V. planifolia  vanilla beans are long but dry, qualifying them as extract grade. They will hydrate if stored in alcohol or used to make vanilla extract. They are earthy and deep, with notes of brown sugar and black tea. These beans have been treated with white rum prior to packaging. 

You can expect 7-10 vanilla beans per ounce.

To save on packaging, beans purchased by the ounce will be shipped in a selection of one or two-ounce vacuum bags to make up the total number of ounces ordered.
