A “Bean Fairy” donates funds that we are able to use for gifting beans to those in difficult circumstances or who have fallen on hard times. This link has information on how to donate to the fund and also how to nominate someone to receive a bean fairy gift. The Bean Fairy fund is named in honor of Sly Otypka, one of our most kind and generous group members who is battling lung cancer.
